slayer:I feel like instant unavoidable deaths through dialogue options are a cheap blow to the players. Late into Act 2 this means losing 60 hours of progress because of a wrong dialogue choice - the very definition of frustration in an otherwise amazing game.Īt the very least you could've given players the achievement (Over to the Farther Coast) for crossing and dying - cause now it just feels like I died for nothing at all. I don't mind losing the save, however I don't see how it was my mistake in this particular situation - the game doesn't make itself very clear on a possible outcome and doesn't offer you a second chance once the deed is done. Nowhere before the Act 2 it was a possibility, so I didn't expect it to happen there as well - you talk to the Ferryman, he tells you he won't betray you and takes your money, and then, as soon as you cross to the other side, your party instantly dies, the game is saved and you lose your Honour playthrough - not due to your own mistake in a battle, not due to an unoptimal build but because of a game behaviour that was neither present not in any way hinted or indicated anywhere before. One of 3 fights in da game which i couldnt faceroll with 1 character solo.I feel like instant unavoidable deaths through dialogue options are a cheap blow to the players. Do it as many times as u need to kill Loic. Learn Escape master talent on archer, shot Loic with Marksman's Fang and run away. They can restore armor and shield out combat, but not HP. Just kill him before he can find you.Ĥ) Hit'&'run - most dirty method. Wtih 2nd character just TP Loic on corpses, then use mass corpse explosion from stealth.Ģ) Lone wolf necromancer oneshot combo (watch utube for this it looks awesome, but completely unfair)ģ) Hide all party at the edge of highground, TP Loic to hidden party, deal as many dmg from steals as possible with each character (Overpower with warrior, Arrow Spray as archer, Infest with necromancer). TP all corpses on a highground and place necromancer here in stealth mode. I think any prebuffs before battles (or during the dialogs) is unfair play, but if i told u about those methods, keep in mind u can cast Clear mind, Haste, Encourage, etc before u initiate battle.ġ) Get 4-5 corpses (sqirels near Lucian statue, deer at start of location, kill some piligrims idk). Now just knock him each turn with knock arrows, war spells or Knocking grenades. Other way - he lost all armor, so u can Knock him whth Ram or Battlestomp. Best way he will be knocked down immediately. Kill him with other characters befor he got his 2-nd turn (or Knock him again)Ĥ) Tornado tactics which already writtend up hereĥ) Jump to Loic as warrior and use Adrenaline, then Overpower on him. Use Canon shot on him, then Knockdown arrow. Use adrenaline, teleport Loic to other party. Use Presisious shot on Loic from stealth mode to get 50% more dmg (actually u need only destroy his phys armor). U should use stealth mode and go to he edge of nearest wooden platform. 90% he cant survive.ģ) U need good archer with as many wits as possible (for close garanted crit and first turn). Then u need focus only one of them.Ģ) kill larvas, then teleport Loic on corpses, then cast mass corpse expolsion. Best way to beat Loic is undead party obviously.ġ) scorched voidwoken dealin INSANE damage on death (around 3500-5000 fire damage each one) and got -50% resist to fire, so ez way to beat Loic is teleport him right on fire larvas.
